Ryan is an elections analyst and writer whose work has been published in FiveThirtyEight and DecisionDeskHQ. His work focuses on electoral data and downballot elections. He also works as a Developer Advocate at Google in their San Francisco office.
Ryan grew up in Somers, New York and moved to California to attend Stanford University, where he majored in Computer Science with a minor in Economics. In school, he was an ASSU Undergraduate Senator and a Vice President in the Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students. He participated in the Stanford in Washington program his junior year, where he interned on Capitol Hill in a leadership office.
